Kidepo Valley National Park is known for having the largest herds of buffaloes in Uganda. Other wildlife such as the Cheetah, Dik Dik, White-eared Kob are also known for this park.
It boasts of an incredible list of bird species with the prominent ones being: the Rose-ringed Parakeet, Red-billed and Hemprich’s Hornbills, Clapperton’s and Yellow-necked Francolins, Black-faced and Four-banded Sandgrouses, Fox Kestrel, Foxy Cisticola, Red-pate Cisticola.
